Culcheth Medical Centre

We have been in regular contact with the surgery, via the PPG and in meetings, about the pressures they face with the growth of the villages they provide a service to. CMC has prepared the information below about one means of addressing the need for more appointments.
Culcheth Medical Centre is part of the Warrington Innovation Network Primary Care
Network (PCN), a group of local GP practices working together to provide additional
services for around 55,000 patients.
In addition to Culcheth Medical Centre, the PCN includes:
•4Seasons Medical Centre
•Chapelford Medical Centre
•Guardian Medical Centre
•Parkview Medical Centre
•Springfields Medical Centre
By working together, we can offer appointments with a wider range of healthcare
professionals, including GPs, Advanced Nurse Practitioners (ANPs), Practice Nurses,
First Contact Practitioners, Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, Home Visiting
Paramedics and Care Coordinators.
If appointments at Culcheth Medical Centre are fully booked, patients may be offered a
sooner appointment at one of our PCN practices. This could be with a GP, ANP,
Practice Nurse or another appropriate clinician. We encourage patients to consider
these appointments, as they can often provide a quicker route to receiving the care and
treatment they need.
Enhanced Access appointments are also available across the PCN and may take place
at a different member practice.
For more information about the PCN, the services available and the clinician you have
been booked to see, please visit: 🔗www.warringtoninnovationnetwork.nhs.uk

By the way, the PPG is always in need of new members who can give a few hours of their time every couple of months to think of ways patients and the practice can work constructively and positively together.
