Working with Charlotte Nichols MP on Residents’ Concerns — Update
23/04/2026 · Gill Stott
Over the past couple of months, the Residents Association has been working closely with Charlotte Nichols MP in response to a number of concerns raised by local residents.
A key focus has been the situation regarding the land on Church Lane, which continues to generate significant community interest.
Residents have highlighted a range of issues relating to the site, including safety concerns, the condition and management of the land, and uncertainty about its future use. These concerns have included reports of risks associated with the current state of the site and the potential impact on neighbouring homes, pedestrians, and the wider community.
We have been sharing these concerns directly with the MP’s office, who has been engaging with the relevant authorities to seek clarity, request updates, and ensure that residents’ voices are represented. This joint approach has strengthened the call for transparency, appropriate oversight, and timely communication.
As soon as further information becomes available, we will publish updates on our website and social channels. Residents who wish to raise additional points or share further evidence are welcome to contact us through our contact page on our website.
